Carlos did an amazing job on both of my roofs. They are very professional and efficient. He was able to identify wood rot underneath and help me repair it before replacing all the shingles class 3. It help lower my property insurance. The cost was very reasonable compared to all of the other quotes I've received. I can't recommend him enough. Please at least ask him to give you a quote.

How it works
From first call to final walkthrough
Call and inspection
Carlos answers the phone himself and books the inspection. He walks the roof and the attic side and shows you photos of what he found.
Same-day written quote
You get the price the same day, in writing, with two shingle options: GAF Natural Shadow or GAF Timberline HDZ. No hidden line items, no pressure while you compare.
Contract and deposit
A signed contract, or a contingency agreement if insurance is paying, and a deposit at signing that is typically 50%. Work usually starts within 14 days.
Install day, then paperwork
The crew arrives around 6:30 AM Monday to Friday and most roofs are finished the same day, materials and labor included, up to 3 decking repairs included. Balance is due within a couple of days, then you get the paid invoice, a certificate of completion and the 3-year transferable labor warranty.
Materials
What goes on your roof
Every quote gives you two shingle options: GAF Natural Shadow (good) and GAF Timberline HDZ (better). Synthetic underlayment, ice-and-water shield in valleys and at penetrations, new drip edge and flashing, and ridge ventilation. Class 4 impact-rated shingles are available on every replacement.
Warranty: 3-year transferable labor warranty, handed to you at completion.
Price
What it costs
Every replacement is quoted per roof after a free inspection, in writing the same day, driven by roof size, pitch, layers and decking condition. We will match a written bid from any roofer you can find on Google Maps.
What a complete roof system is
Seven layers. We install all of them, every time.
- Decking — rotten or soft sheets replaced, never covered.
- Ice-and-water shield — self-sealing membrane in valleys and around penetrations.
- Synthetic underlayment — the waterproof layer under every shingle.
- Drip edge and starter strip — seals the edges where wind lifts first.
- Architectural shingles — Class 4 impact-rated available.
- Flashing — new metal at chimneys, walls and pipes.
- Ridge vent and caps — attic heat out, shingles last longer.
Every quote gives you two shingle options: GAF Natural Shadow (good) and GAF Timberline HDZ (better), over synthetic underlayment.

Reviews
Reviews from roof replacement customers
On the day I contacted Carlos Valdez, I was able to schedule an appointment for him to inspect the roof and provide insight. Carlos was professional, friendly, respectful, and very knowledgeable about the roofing process. Carlos wrote an estimate that day and just over a week later his crew was at our house. They tore three layers of shingles off and completely re-roofed the house in one day. The quality of the work was top notch, the team was hard working and respectful, and at the end of the day everything was cleaned up and looked great. There wasn't a single glitch or problem and I am 100% satisfied.
GIBCO worked very hard to repair the decking and replace my roof! The crew showed up early and stayed late to finish the job! Also, they worked with my schedule to find a day that they could install the roof. I highly recommend this company!
Questions
Straight answers
How do I know if I need a replacement instead of a repair?
If the roof is under about 15 years old and damage is limited to one area, a repair is usually the right call. Widespread granule loss, curling, multiple leaks or a roof at the end of its rated life usually means replacement saves money over the next few years. The free inspection gives you a straight answer either way.
What is included in a full replacement?
Complete tear-off of the old shingles, inspection and replacement of damaged decking with up to 3 decking repairs included in the quote, new underlayment, starter strip, drip edge, flashing at chimneys and walls, new shingles, ridge caps and ventilation, then a magnet sweep of the yard and driveway. All materials and labor are in the price.
Which shingles do you install?
Every quote gives you two options: GAF Natural Shadow as the good option and GAF Timberline HDZ as the better one. Class 4 impact-rated shingles are available on any replacement.
Can I upgrade to impact-resistant shingles?
Yes. Class 4 impact-rated shingles are available on every replacement and many DFW insurers offer a premium discount for them. Ask during your inspection.
Do you remove old layers or roof over them?
We always tear off to the deck. Roofing over old shingles hides rot, voids most manufacturer warranties and adds weight the structure was not designed for.
How long does the quote take, and when do you start?
Carlos writes the quote the same day as the inspection, listing materials, scope and price with no hidden line items. Once the contract is signed, work usually starts within 14 days.
What warranty do I get?
A 3-year transferable labor warranty. You get the document at completion, along with the paid invoice and a certificate of completion.
